Medical Representative | Pneumology

Function information


Deliver impactful calls to all relevant stakeholders through selling excellence skills and ability to build trust and relationships with each stakeholder

Build insights around key customers and hospitals, and build a commercially astute, prioritized and targeted business plan, that demonstrates a tailored, needs based approach

Demonstrate measurable progress against business plans, in line with the internal policy, using clearly defined KPIs that prove the value returned to the business and delivery against customer needs

Build & implement successfully a business plan consisting of:

  • Visits & meetings with key stakeholder
  • Insights into current prescription & account way of working
  • Ensure identification of patients & clear picture of patients potential
  • Ensure triggering of the scientific studies with HCPs
  • Follow-up & ensure successful identification & treatment of eligible patients
  • Follow-up all issues, questions & remarks from all stakeholders & feedback to marketing team

Use a multi-channel approach to compellingly communicate the data behind our new therapy approach and articulate the benefits for patients

Mobilize internal and external experts through appropriate forums/channels to cascade positive opinion in order to build advocacy amongst other EEs across multiple accounts


Requirements


Degree level: certified healthcare professional or relevant experience

At least 2 years experience in visiting pneumologists (!) and management of hospital accounts through contact with pharmacists & nurses. Experience of working in the specialized disease area pneumology. This is an absolute must.

Selling excellence: interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to deliver an impactful call

High scientific skills: ability to understand, capture and communicate complex scientific ideas in a simple way. Demonstrated ability to analyze and assimilate scientific and sales data

Project Management skills, including the ability to implement, monitor and review projects and expertise and demonstrated skills in account management

Proven ability to work across boundaries with highly specialized external experts and senior internal stakeholders and willingness to be a strong member of a high performance team

Ability to form collaborative relationships and to lead without authority
