Our client develops treatments for some of the most devastating disorders and complex medical challenges of our times, including cancer, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, arthritis, dementia, and mental disorders. We focus our research on six strategic pathological areas: oncology, neurosciences, infectious diseases and vaccines, immunology, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders and pulmonary hypertension .

The Supply Chain team in responsible for a well organized supply chain flow, interacting with a broad range of suppliers and several distribution hubs to secure adequate stocks to cover the demand of our customers worldwide. This position will report to the Senior Manager Supply Chain.


Function information


Planning and coordination of Order to Invoice (OTI)

  • In this new function, you will ensure a smooth operation of the OTI (order to invoice cycle). You take care of the daily planning of all orders to suppliers. You execute the planning in SAP, estimate the impact of supplier order delays on the customers' stock and set priorities if necessary.
  • Based on a forecast and project planning, you are responsible for the purchase of raw materials, goods & services. You act as a contact point for suppliers and internal stakeholders and negotiate with external/internal partners to process urgent orders.
  • You follow up, interpret and optimize customer service department instructions and work closely with logistics partners
  • You lead the S & OP process (Operations Planning & Scheduling) in line with the proposed Business Plan, to ensure accurate forecasting. Setting up and following up planning meetings with the various stakeholders
  • You work proactively with external/internal stakeholders to prevent/solve problems in relation to delayed orders that may impact timely and correct delivery to customers.

Quality

  • You comply with procedures and guidelines regarding ISO and EHS&S
  • You support the customer service function by coordinating the receipt of goods in external warehouses.
  • You document, evaluate and follow up on customer complaints, supplier non-conformities and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA’s).

Requirements


Who are we looking for?

  • You have a Bachelor in Logistics and relevant work experience of at least 3 years in a Supply Chain environment.

  • You have knowledge of ISO and/or GMP and you are quality minded

  • You have perfect knowledge of Dutch and English (both spoken and written). Your communication style is natural, to the point, diplomatic and convincing.

  • You have affinity with IT: setting up and using reporting tools, good Excel knowledge, experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) is an asset.

  • Knowledge of project management is an asset

  • You have a strong interest in planning techniques and material management

  • Your main drive is to deliver adequate service to our customers

  • You are hands-on, stress-resistant and flexible;

  • You are a go-getter and take initiative

  • You can work independently or in a team

  • You can work in a structured and disciplined manner

  • You can work accurately
